Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Calverton, Nottingham. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution and timely delivery of our diverse projects, ranging from new product development and manufacturing process improvements to client-specific installations and internal operational initiatives. You will be the central point of contact for project stakeholders, meticulously tracking progress, managing schedules, and facilitating communication to keep everyone aligned and informed.
As our Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans, identifying critical path activities, and proactively flagging potential risks or delays. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines using appropriate project management tools.
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and identify any deviations from the plan, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including internal teams (engineering, production, sales) and external partners.
- Organise and minute project meetings, ensuring clear action items are assigned and followed up.
- Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and resource utilisation.
- Assist in the identification and mitigation of project risks and issues, escalating as required.
- Manage project documentation, ensuring all files are accurately maintained, version controlled, and easily accessible.
- Support the project manager in resource allocation and budget tracking.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of necessary materials and services for projects.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
