Job Description
Are you seeking a dynamic role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with immediate start opportunities? Alliance Group’s Lorneville Plant in Invercargill is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Production Workers to join our vital team. This full-time position offers a chance to contribute to the production of high-quality red meat products that are enjoyed globally. As a Production Worker, you will be an essential part of our operations, working across various stages of the processing line, from receiving and preparation to packaging and dispatch. Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform various tasks on the processing line, including sorting, cutting, trimming, and packing.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring high standards of sanitation.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and finished products.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or safety concerns immediately.
- Participate actively in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment, including standing for long periods.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
