Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform quality checks on products and materials, ensuring adherence to P&G's strict quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance or supervisory staff.
- Load and unload materials from machines, ensuring a continuous and efficient production flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Record production data, including output, downtime, and material usage, with accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet daily targets.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
- Perform routine maintenance and changeovers as required.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to operate and monitor machinery with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a technical field or relevant certification.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks.
