Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and other procurement-related documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data in the procurement system.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Help manage vendor relationships, including researching potential suppliers and evaluating performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock reconciliation to ensure adequate supplies are always available.
  • Support the negotiation of favorable terms and pricing with vendors under the guidance of senior procurement staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Bayhealth's purchasing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their supply needs and facilitate timely acquisitions.
  • Assist with resolving supply chain issues, such as delivery delays or quality concerns.
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvement efforts within the supply chain department.

Required Skills
