Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine quality checks on products and materials, ensuring adherence to P&G's strict quality standards.
  • Load and unload materials and products from production lines, requiring physical dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Monitor production processes, identifying and resolving minor issues or escalating complex problems to supervisors.
  • Complete accurate production logs and documentation, maintaining meticulous records of operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in equipment changeovers, cleaning, and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to achieve production targets.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven ability to understand and follow complex instructions and procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting machinery.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (1-2 years) in a manufacturing or production setting, preferably in consumer goods.
  • Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or similar quality systems.
  • Forklift operator certification or experience.
  • Ability to operate computerized control systems.
