Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine quality checks on products and materials, ensuring adherence to P&G's strict quality standards.
- Load and unload materials and products from production lines, requiring physical dexterity and attention to detail.
- Monitor production processes, identifying and resolving minor issues or escalating complex problems to supervisors.
- Complete accurate production logs and documentation, maintaining meticulous records of operations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in equipment changeovers, cleaning, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to achieve production targets.
- Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven ability to understand and follow complex instructions and procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting machinery.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in a manufacturing or production setting, preferably in consumer goods.
- Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or similar quality systems.
- Forklift operator certification or experience.
- Ability to operate computerized control systems.
