Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, offering effective and lasting solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems.
- Ensure all work complies with Quebec Plumbing Code, local bylaws, and international plumbing standards when applicable.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems and recommend preventive maintenance.
- Operate various plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers, other tradespeople, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare detailed reports of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional conduct at all times.
- Travel internationally for project assignments, adapting to new work environments and cultural contexts.
- Adhere to strict health and safety regulations on all job sites, both local and international.
Required Skills
- Journeyman Plumber Certification (or equivalent) valid in Quebec.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a Plumbing Technician.
- Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems (water, drainage, heating).
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
