Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drainage, and sewage systems across various properties.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively, using appropriate tools and techniques to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on plumbing infrastructure to minimize breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency plumbing calls, ensuring minimal disruption to property occupants.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, building codes, and industry regulations.
  • Accurately estimate material and labor costs for plumbing repairs and installations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other maintenance staff, contractors, and property management teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Plumber (minimum 3 years).
  • Proficiency in using a wide range of plumbing tools and equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of water distribution, waste disposal systems, and related hydraulics.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant vocational training or a recognized plumbing certification.
  • Experience with commercial plumbing systems and large-scale residential developments.
  • Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations in Abuja FCT and Niger State.
  • Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license.
