Job Description
Are you a skilled Plumber with a passion for precision and a commitment to maintaining essential building systems? Groupe Forrest International is seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumber to join our Building Maintenance team in Gbadolite, Nord-Ubangi Province. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of all plumbing systems across our various facilities and properties. This isn’t just about fixing leaks; it’s about proactively maintaining complex water supply, drainage, and heating systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and comfort for all occupants. You will be a key player in our facilities management, responding to service requests, performing routine inspections, and executing both emergency repairs and planned preventative maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures involved in heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, pipe damage, and system malfunctions.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all plumbing infrastructure, identifying potential problems before they escalate.
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and plan installations or repairs.
- Work with various materials such as copper, PVC, PEX, and cast iron, ensuring proper application and installation techniques.
- Install and repair water heaters, boilers, pumps, and other associated plumbing appliances.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and execute timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to coordinate projects and ensure seamless operations.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines, particularly when working with hazardous materials or in confined spaces.
Required Skills
