Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary or specialized medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform medical procedures as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care and optimal health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency medical services as required by specialty and facility.
- Engage in continuous professional development and medical education to stay current with advancements in medicine.
- Adhere to all medical ethics, professional conduct standards, and Centura Health policies.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in a relevant specialty.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Current DEA registration.
- Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced healthcare environment.
