Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport the executive and family members to various destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring regular cleaning, servicing, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Plan and execute optimal routes, considering traffic patterns, road conditions, and security protocols to ensure timely arrivals.
- Manage schedules and appointments, including waiting periods and last-minute changes, with flexibility and professionalism.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times, including assisting with luggage and personal belongings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the executive’s personal and professional affairs.
- Perform errands as requested, demonstrating efficiency and reliability.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and mileage.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
- Exhibit a high level of discretion, courtesy, and respect in all interactions with the executive, family, and other staff members.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or higher) with an excellent driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable professional driving experience, preferably for high-net-worth individuals or corporate executives.
- Exceptional knowledge of Lagos road networks, including alternative routes, traffic management strategies, and local landmarks.
- Strong understanding of defensive driving techniques and advanced road safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., oil, tires, water, minor repairs) and troubleshoot common issues.
- Exceptional time management, punctuality, and organizational skills.
- High degree of integrity, discretion, and reliability, with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Calm, composed, and patient demeanor, especially under pressure or in challenging traffic conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in Advanced Driving or Defensive Driving from a recognized institution.
- Experience driving luxury or high-end vehicles.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Security awareness training or experience.
