Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an assigned sales territory, including a portfolio of existing accounts and actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with retail partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Execute sales strategies and promotional programs to drive product distribution, visibility, and volume.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth and adapt sales tactics accordingly.
- Negotiate product placement, pricing, and promotional activities with store management.
- Ensure optimal product merchandising and shelf presence in retail locations, adhering to planograms and brand standards.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product availability, identify challenges, and implement solutions.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to management.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PepsiCo products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or retail industry.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with route sales or territory management.
- Familiarity with the Saskatchewan retail landscape.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Experience using CRM software.
