Key Responsibilities
- Assist production line operators with setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery.
- Load raw materials and packaging supplies onto production lines as required.
- Monitor product quality and identify any defects or inconsistencies during production.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all sanitation protocols.
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Package finished products according to specifications and prepare them for shipment.
- Transport materials and products within the facility using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
