Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of production machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure adherence to PepsiCo's stringent standards.
- Monitor production lines for any issues, reporting anomalies promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
- Support the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and minor preventative maintenance as directed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.
- Complete accurate production logs and documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for recording data.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (days, afternoons, nights) and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
