Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload product shipments from trucks and trailers, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) in a safe and responsible manner.
- Verify product counts and ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests or invoices.
- Organize and stack products in designated warehouse locations, maintaining clear aisles and pathways.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or damage immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, clearing debris, and proper waste disposal.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and quality control standards for handling beverages.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) throughout a shift.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance for standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and verifying products.
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication skills to understand instructions and interact with team members.
- Commitment to working safely and following all safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or loading/unloading role.
- Certification in operating a forklift or electric pallet jack.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning or inventory systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
