Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and misplacements.
- Maintain accurate inventory control systems and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential issues such as slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Assist in the receiving, storage, and dispatch of products, ensuring proper documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently (certification or willingness to train required).
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to optimize inventory flow.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and generate various inventory reports for management analysis.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
