Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an assigned sales territory, achieving sales targets and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with retail customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Execute sales strategies, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive product visibility and sales volume.
- Ensure optimal product placement, merchandising, and inventory levels in all assigned accounts.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the territory to expand market presence.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights and make informed business decisions.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and competitive analyses.
- Operate company vehicle safely and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and distribution, to ensure seamless execution.
- Stay informed about new products, industry developments, and competitive activities.
Required Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in field sales, retail sales, or customer service.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Familiarity with sales force automation (SFA) or CRM software.
