Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of relevant Swedish tax laws, collective agreements, and social security regulations.
  • Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and benefits with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity in our payroll systems.
  • Support the reconciliation of payroll accounts and prepare relevant reports.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Participate in continuous training and development programs to enhance payroll expertise.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and internal controls.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Swedish and English.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A university degree or vocational education in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Swedish payroll principles and regulations (training will be provided).
  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., Agda PS, Visma Lön) is a plus but not required.
  • Previous administrative or office experience.
