Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating innovative and delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts. You will be responsible for all aspects of pastry production, from recipe development and ingredient sourcing to baking, decorating, and presentation. This role involves working closely with the head chef and kitchen staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the pastry section. You will also play a key role in maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. Accommodation is provided as part of this role. Key Responsibilities
- Developing new and exciting pastry recipes
- Sourcing high-quality ingredients
- Baking, decorating, and presenting pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Managing pastry inventory and ordering supplies
- Working closely with the head chef and kitchen staff
- Training and supervising junior pastry staff (if applicable)
- Creating visually appealing pastry displays
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in pastry making
- Exceptional baking and decorating skills

- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Formal culinary training (Diploma or higher)
- 5+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Proven ability to manage a pastry section
- Knowledge of different pastry techniques and styles
