Key Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle body damage accurately and determine the appropriate repair methods.
- Repair or replace damaged body parts, including panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers.
- Straighten bent frames and unibody structures using specialized equipment.
- Perform welding, grinding, sanding, and filling to restore vehicle surfaces.
- Prepare repaired surfaces for painting, ensuring smooth and flawless finishes.
- Utilize various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with painters, mechanics, and other technicians to ensure seamless repair processes.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair progress and any additional findings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater in an automotive repair environment.
- Expertise in vehicle body repair techniques, including dent removal, panel fabrication, and replacement.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG), grinding, and metal finishing.
- Strong understanding of automotive structural components and chassis alignment.
- Ability to operate various workshop tools and equipment safely.
