Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor packaging machinery, ensuring correct settings and smooth operation.
  • Perform manual packing of various products into boxes, containers, or other packaging materials.
  • Accurately label and stack finished products onto pallets, ready for warehousing or dispatch.
  • Conduct quality checks on packed items, identifying and reporting any defects or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and finished goods.
  • Support assembly line operatives as needed to maintain production flow.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
