Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles, conveyors, and trailers, ensuring careful handling.
- Sort packages based on destination, size, and weight, adhering to established procedures.
- Scan packages to record their movement through the system.
- Stack and store packages in designated areas, optimising space and accessibility.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Operate package handling equipment safely and efficiently after receiving proper training.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg) regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physically demanding role.
