Job Description
Logistique du Congo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our general operations in Isiro, Haut-Uélé Province. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, capable of managing complex logistics, optimizing workflows, and ensuring operational efficiency across all facets of our regional activities. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all regional activities.
- Oversee daily operations, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and resource allocation.
- Manage operational budgets, optimize costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operational staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve service quality.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, finance, human resources) to ensure seamless workflow and cross-functional support.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
- Prepare regular operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and present findings to senior management.
- Address and resolve operational challenges and unforeseen issues promptly and effectively.
