Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient customer service via phone, chat, and email from a remote home office.
 - Assist customers with inquiries regarding product details, inventory availability, order placement, tracking, and modifications.
 - Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex problems to appropriate departments when necessary.
 - Process returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
 - Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to the Home Depot website and mobile app.
 - Educate customers on self-service options and company programs.
 - Document all customer interactions accurately and thoroughly in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
 - Maintain a strong understanding of Home Depot products, services, and promotional offers.
 - Adhere to schedule and attendance requirements, ensuring consistent availability during assigned shifts.
 - Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
 
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
 - Minimum 6 months of customer service experience (call center or online support preferred).
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 - Proficiency with computers and ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.
 - Strong problem-solving and de-escalation skills.
 - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
 - Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace.
 - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
 - 1+ years of experience in a remote customer service role.
