Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, including training, scheduling, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, etc.).
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, physical inventories, and effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Coordinate with transportation, customer service, and other departments to ensure seamless operational flow and timely deliveries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper working order and a safe environment.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and communicate performance to management.
  • Act as a point of contact for resolving operational issues and addressing associate concerns.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and train others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with a major Warehouse Management System (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle WMS, or HighJump.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
