Boardriders, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and energetic On-site Warehouse Loader for our crucial Night Shift operations in Huntington Beach, California. In this vital role, you will be an integral part of our distribution team, ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of our world-renowned apparel, footwear, and accessories. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, sorting products, and preparing shipments that keep our brands flowing to customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently load and unload freight and merchandise from trucks, containers, and other vehicles, ensuring proper handling and care.
  • Accurately sort, stack, and organize products in designated warehouse locations, adhering to inventory management procedures.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and potentially other material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, if certified) safely and proficiently.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists or other documentation to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by securing loads, wrapping pallets, and attaching labels as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed to support operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and shipments.
  • Excellent physical stamina and endurance for standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment.
  • Basic communication skills to understand instructions and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all operational guidelines.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality for night shift operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center setting.
  • Experience operating manual pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Forklift certification (if applicable to specific roles within the warehouse).
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for counting and verification.
