Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and craft cocktails, wines, and beers, according to El Moro's precise recipes and quality standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, taking drink orders, making educated recommendations, and ensuring their complete satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times, including glassware, garnishes, ice, and all necessary inventory.
  • Accurately process guest payments using our Point-of-Sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions with integrity and precision.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly and adhere strictly to all local and state liquor laws and responsible service guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for all patrons.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking, rotating products, and identifying items for reordering.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment for both staff and guests.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and current mixology trends to enhance menu offerings and guest experience.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1.5 years (18 months) of proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine varietals, and different beer types.
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems for order entry, payment processing, and tab management.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification.
  • Demonstrated experience with craft cocktail preparation and custom drink creation.
