Key Responsibilities
- Collect soiled linens from various hotel departments and guest rooms.
- Sort linens by type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow established procedures for proper use of chemicals and detergents.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, damage, and proper folding.
- Fold, stack, and deliver clean linens to appropriate storage areas or departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts of linens as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
