Job Description
Join the dedicated team at The Claremont Club & Spa, A Fairmont Hotel, as an On-site Housekeeping Staff member. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties for assigned guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, polishing furniture, and cleaning bathrooms to the highest standards.
- Replenish guest room amenities, linens, and supplies according to hotel guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in designated public areas, hallways, and service areas as required.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
- Collaborate positively with fellow team members and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest service.
- Properly dispose of waste and recyclables, following hotel and environmental policies.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that include standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and pushing carts for extended periods.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
