Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, creating a positive final interaction.
- Accurately scan products and process all forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets.
- Handle cash responsibly, making correct change and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist customers with questions regarding products, promotions, or store layout, directing them to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout lane and surrounding area.
- Process returns, exchanges, and rain checks efficiently and according to company policy.
- Engage with customers to promote loyalty programs, special offers, and store services.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer flow.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with bagging groceries thoughtfully and efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care.
