Key Responsibilities
- Accurately count, verify, and reconcile daily cash, check, and credit card transactions from various departments.
- Prepare daily bank deposits, ensuring all funds are accounted for and discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved.
- Manage the store's vault and change fund, ensuring adequate cash levels for daily operations.
- Process and audit cashier tills, identifying and resolving overages or shortages.
- Maintain meticulous records of all cash office activities, including daily summaries, reconciliation reports, and audit trails.
- Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure smooth cash flow and adherence to financial policies.
- Assist in training new cashiers on proper cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) system usage.
- Adhere strictly to all company security protocols and cash handling guidelines to prevent loss.
- Respond to inquiries and assist store associates with cash-related issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Required Skills
- Proven accuracy and attention to detail in cash handling and reconciliation.
