Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently deliver and collect documents, packages, and other items to various departments within the Apapa Port Complex and external locations as required.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and collections, particularly for time-sensitive materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections, obtaining necessary signatures and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Ensure the motorbike is in good working condition, conducting routine checks and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Assist with general office errands and support tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff and external contacts, representing the company professionally at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A (Motorbike) Rider's License
  • Proven experience riding a motorbike in an urban environment, preferably Apapa/Lagos.
  • Excellent knowledge of Apapa and surrounding Lagos areas.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Physical fitness to handle daily errands and deliveries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar courier or office runner role.
  • Basic knowledge of motorbike maintenance.
  • Ability to read and understand simple maps or use navigation apps.
