Job Description
Piedmont Columbus Regional is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Office Cleaner to join our Environmental Services team for a full-time, day schedule position. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the pristine condition of our administrative offices, common areas, meeting rooms, and other non-clinical spaces across our facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste removal in offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, and restrooms.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and furniture to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a healthy environment.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in designated areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
- Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff and visitors.
- Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or move-out cleaning.
