Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and various software applications.
- Set up and deploy new workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals for new and existing employees.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and virus scans, to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist users with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
- Document IT support tickets, resolutions, and common issues in the helpdesk system.
- Escalate complex IT issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams when necessary.
- Participate in IT asset management, including tracking inventory and managing equipment lifecycle.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT knowledge base articles and user guides.
- Support network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN access.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software components.
