Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior researchers in the design, setup, and execution of complex experiments related to AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing.
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Develop and maintain research software prototypes, scripts, and tools using Python, C++, or other relevant languages.
- Perform literature reviews to stay abreast of the latest advancements in relevant research areas and contribute to research proposals.
- Document research methodologies, experimental procedures, and results comprehensively and clearly.
- Contribute to the preparation of research papers, presentations, and technical reports for internal and external audiences.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing technical support to the research team.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, sharing knowledge and insights to foster a vibrant research environment.
- Present findings and progress at internal meetings and potentially external conferences.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, CUDA).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or significant progress towards a Master's degree in a relevant field.
