Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is seeking a dedicated Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate non-CDL company vehicles (e.g., box trucks, vans) to deliver products to designated customer locations within the Atlanta metropolitan area.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Verify load accuracy against delivery manifests, ensuring correct products and quantities are loaded and delivered.
  • Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and electronic documentation using company-provided tools.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, interacting professionally with clients and addressing any concerns.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned delivery vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing orders for shipment.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Georgia Class C (or equivalent) Driver's License with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
  • Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with navigation devices and route planning applications.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with refrigerated or temperature-controlled delivery.
  • Familiarity with the Atlanta metropolitan area road network.
