Job Description
NNPC Limited is seeking highly motivated and ambitious individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Mechanical Technicians. As an Entry-Level Mechanical Technician, you will be an integral part of our maintenance and operations team, supporting the upkeep and efficient functioning of vital mechanical equipment and systems crucial to our operations in the Iyana-Ipaja, Agege area.

You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced technicians, gaining practical experience in troubleshooting, routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures across a range of industrial machinery, pumps, valves, and associated mechanical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanical technicians in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems, including pumps, compressors, valves, pipelines, and generators.
- Learn and apply proper diagnostic techniques to identify mechanical malfunctions and failures.
- Participate in routine preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.
- Execute minor repairs and adjustments under supervision, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Help in the documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and repair reports.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Support the setup and dismantling of equipment for maintenance and operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
