Key Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, verifying transactions and ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage petty cash accounts.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information exchange.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in an accounting role, preferably within a large organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
