Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from trailers and package cars by hand, or using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Sort packages by destination and ensure they are placed in the correct containers or areas.
- Scan packages and update tracking information accurately.
- Stack and unstack packages onto/from pallets, trays, and shelves.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance for standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for night shift operations.
- Basic ability to read and understand English.
- Commitment to following safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physically demanding role.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack) is a plus.
- Familiarity with scanning technology and inventory systems.
