Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients with varying conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
  • Utilise a wide range of physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
  • Provide clear and effective education to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment plan.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and seamless transitions.
  • Maintain accurate, concise, and timely patient records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, clinical supervision, and continuous professional development activities.
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy department.
  • Supervise junior staff, physiotherapy assistants, and students as appropriate.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council).
  • Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience as a Physiotherapist.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience across a variety of specialties (e.g., musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar NHS or public health setting.
