Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and assessments to determine appropriate courses of action.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, prescribing medication as necessary and making referrals to specialist services.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as required, adhering to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with NHS standards.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Participate in regular team meetings, clinical governance activities, and continuous professional development initiatives.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, preventative care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and patient outcomes within the medical centre.
Required Skills
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice.
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
