Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced NAB Compliance Officer to join our team in Kalihi, Honolulu. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies in line with regulatory requirements and NAB's global standards.
- Monitor changes in local, state, and federal financial regulations relevant to our operations, particularly those affecting the Hawaiian market.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and on time to relevant authorities.
- Provide expert advice and training to staff on compliance matters, fostering a strong compliance culture across the organization.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues, incidents, and breaches promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with legal, risk management, and operational teams to integrate compliance requirements into business processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or regulatory role within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. financial regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, OFAC, Consumer Protection laws, GDPR, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
