Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Music Licensing team with daily administrative tasks, including database management and filing.
- Conduct research on music rights, copyright ownership, and master recording clearances for various projects.
- Support the preparation of licensing agreements, cue sheets, and other relevant documentation.
- Help maintain and update the music library and metadata, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams to identify suitable music for specific content needs.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding ongoing projects and licensing strategies.
- Monitor music industry trends and emerging artists relevant to Disney's content needs.
- Assist with communications with external music publishers, labels, and rights holders.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Music Business, Entertainment Law, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong passion for music and a basic understanding of the music industry landscape.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
