Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic artist branding and promotion plans tailored to individual artists and their target demographics.
  • Craft compelling narratives, press releases, artist bios, and promotional materials that capture an artist's essence and appeal to media outlets.
  • Manage and optimize social media presence across various platforms, developing engaging content strategies and fostering community interaction.
  • Identify and secure media opportunities, including interviews, features, reviews, and placements in relevant print, digital, and broadcast outlets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with music journalists, bloggers, influencers, radio programmers, and industry tastemakers.
  • Coordinate and oversee promotional events, listening parties, and publicity stunts to generate buzz and increase artist visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to artists and management, and adapting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with graphic designers, video producers, and digital marketers to ensure a unified brand presence.
  • Stay abreast of music industry trends, new platforms, and emerging promotional techniques to keep strategies innovative and effective.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in music promotion, PR, or artist management roles.
  • Demonstrable experience in artist branding and developing successful promotional campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
