Are you a passionate storyteller with a profound love for music and a keen eye for digital media trends? KASU Public Radio, the award-winning NPR affiliate serving Northeast Arkansas and beyond, is actively seeking a dynamic and innovative Music Content Creator to enrich our digital presence. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, produce, and edit high-quality audio and video content focused on music for various online platforms.
  • Write engaging articles, blog posts, and social media copy to complement multimedia content.
  • Conduct interviews with musicians, artists, and music industry professionals.
  • Manage and maintain KASU's music-related social media presence, driving engagement and growth.
  • Stay informed on current music trends, artists, and digital content best practices.
  • Collaborate with the KASU team to align content with overall station programming and strategic goals.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, using data to inform future content strategy.
  • Ensure all content adheres to KASU's editorial standards and brand guidelines.
  • Assist with live event coverage and remote production as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in digital content creation (audio, video, written)
  • Proficiency with audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content strategy for audience engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge and passion for diverse music genres.
