Job Description

MTN Nigeria is urgently seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our vibrant team in Ikoyi. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth, expanding our market reach, and fostering strong relationships with our valued customers across the Ikoyi axis and beyond. You will be responsible for promoting and selling MTN’s comprehensive suite of products and services, including voice, data, value-added services (VAS), and mobile money (MoMo) solutions, to individuals and businesses. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers for MTN products and services within the assigned territory.
- Actively engage with potential and existing customers to understand their communication needs and recommend appropriate MTN solutions.
- Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to individuals and corporate clients.
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay updated on MTN's product offerings, services, and promotions, as well as industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and post-sales follow-up.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development programs.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the telecommunications or FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and ability to commute within the Ikoyi area and beyond as required.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
- Existing network or strong understanding of the Ikoyi business landscape.
- Ability to speak local languages relevant to the Ikoyi area (e.g., Yoruba) is an advantage.
