Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls in a timely and professional manner, adhering to MTN's service standards.
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions or alternatives.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Keep accurate records of all conversations in our call center database system.
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets.
- Stay informed about all MTN products, services, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
Required Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in local languages being an added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
