Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage Meta’s overarching social media strategy in alignment with global marketing, communications, and product launch goals.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, image, video) across Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp) and other relevant social channels.
- Monitor social listening tools to identify trends, sentiment, and opportunities, responding to users in a brand-consistent and engaging manner.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including product marketing, public relations, legal, and creative departments to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
- Analyze social media performance data, generate comprehensive reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize strategies, content, and campaigns for maximum impact and ROI.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform algorithm changes, emerging trends, tools, and technologies to maintain Meta's competitive edge.
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, managing budgets, optimizing ad spend, and ensuring campaigns meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify, engage with, and manage relationships with key influencers, community advocates, and brand partners to expand reach and foster authentic engagement.
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies and manage reputation control swiftly and effectively on social media during critical moments.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team environment.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in social media management, with a significant portion in a large organization or fast-paced tech company.
- Proven expertise in managing major social media platforms, with specific emphasis on Meta’s suite of products (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp).
- Strong understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, native platform insights) and ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, brand voice, and engaging storytelling.
- Ability to develop creative and compelling content strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with diverse audiences.
- Experience with content management systems, project management tools, and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
