Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and highly motivated Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Meta. As a Product Designer, you will be instrumental in defining and designing the user experience for various Meta products, from initial concept through to launch and iteration. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery and ideation to detailed design and implementation for complex product areas.
- Conduct user research, synthesize findings, and translate them into actionable design insights and user flows.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and user interactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions are feasible, impactful, and aligned with business goals.
- Actively participate in design critiques, providing and receiving constructive feedback to elevate the quality of work.
- Contribute to the evolution of Meta’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
- Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the best possible user experience throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Stay informed about industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continually improve design practices and outcomes.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI) for complex web and mobile applications.
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UX design skills, user-centered design process, and visual design craftsmanship.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Experience conducting and leveraging user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to articulate design rationale and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for large-scale consumer products with billions of users.
- Background in interaction design, visual design, or related fields.
- Experience contributing to or evolving design systems.
- Familiarity with various qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
