Orange RDC is seeking a highly reliable and efficient Messenger to join our team in Gbadolite, Nord-Ubangi Province. In this essential role, you will be the backbone of our internal and external correspondence, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of documents, parcels, and other materials crucial to our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily delivery and collection of documents, packages, and correspondence both within the office and to external locations (e.g., banks, post office, partner organizations, government offices).
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately, securely, and within specified timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with basic office errands and administrative support as required, including photocopying, filing, and preparing mail.
  • Operate and maintain company assigned transportation (e.g., motorcycle, bicycle) responsibly and safely, adhering to all traffic laws.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all sensitive documents and information handled.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Report any discrepancies, issues, or delays immediately to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment when necessary.

  • Proven reliability and punctuality
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility and discretion
  • Good verbal communication skills in French (Lingala an advantage)
  • Familiarity with Gbadolite and surrounding areas
  • Ability to operate a motorcycle/bicycle safely (valid license if applicable for motorcycle)
  • Physical fitness to handle deliveries and lift moderate weights

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Diplôme d'État)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar messenger or delivery role
  • Proficiency in Lingala and/or other local languages
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
