Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and globally-minded Mechanical Engineer to enrich our team at Dassault Falcon Jet’s cutting-edge completion center in Little Rock, Arkansas. This pivotal role is tailored for an engineer passionate about aerospace, eager to contribute to the meticulous design, advanced development, and seamless integration of sophisticated mechanical systems for our world-renowned business jets. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and analyze mechanical components and systems for business jet aircraft, including structures, interiors, and various aircraft systems.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis (stress, thermal, vibration, fluid dynamics) using analytical methods and advanced CAE software.
- Generate and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with aerospace industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, certification) to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
- Participate in the testing, validation, and qualification of new and modified mechanical systems.
- Support production and in-service issues, providing engineering solutions and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) and company quality standards.
- Manage projects or portions of projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks, NX) and CAE tools (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS).
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and structural dynamics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with aircraft interior design and certification processes.
- Familiarity with aerospace regulatory requirements (e.g., FAR Part 25).
- Experience with PLM systems (e.g., ENOVIA).
